Living days of grief and joy,
hurt and happiness, astonishment and wonder, scarcity and abundance, travel and
being home, loneliness and friendships
Looking at
each other through the twilight of the years
Gauging each other’s
character through the crucible of change
Gaining
wisdom with each rhythm of two steps forward and one step backwards
Secretly
asking would we do it all over again if we could view the future
Publicly
answering yes with continuing actions of love
But wishing
we knew more about the magic of marriage before committing
Keeping our
commitments to our Lord Jesus so our bond strengthens
Forward to
Year 53 and beyond as we write our Chronciles of Marriage
